What We Believe

Biblical truths we adhere to

We Believe in Salvation through confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We Believe the Holy Bible is the Inspired Word of God.
(Isaiah 40:8; Acts 20:32; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We Believe there is only one living and true God. There are three persons in the Godhead: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We Believe God spoke the world into existence and that all things it contains are for His own pleasure and the enjoyment of His creatures.

We Believe God created man in His own image as a triune being consisting of a spirit, soul and body.
(Genesis 1:26-27; 1 Thessalonians 5:23)

We Believe Jesus Christ, conceived of the Virgin Mary, is the only begotten Son of the Father. Jesus was crucified, buried and rose from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

We Believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost as evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service in love.

We believe in water baptism by immersion in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.  (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:11-12)

We Believe that divine healing has been provided for in the atonement.
(Psalms 103:1-6; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:17-18; James 5:14-16; 1 Peter 2:24)

We Believe that tithing is God’s financial plan for the support of His work.
(Malachi 3:8-12; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; Genesis 8:22; Matthew 23:23; Leviticus 27:30-34;

We Believe in the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
(Acts 1:10-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 1:7)

We Believe in the Five-Fold Ministry. The Church is to be taught and led by the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. The Five-Fold Ministry is to teach and train its people to do the work of the ministry with maturity and unity in mind.

We Believe those who die outside of Christ will be punished in an eternal Hell, but those who die “in Him” shall share in His glory in Heaven forever.

We Believe in the sacredness of marriage between one man & one woman and family commitment. We promote strong family values.
